Some labels are born from a marketing plan. Move Recordings was born from a scene, a studio and a crew of people who care. Here's how.
The story begins in the Belgian underground, at a time when independent labels set the tempo and every vinyl release was an event. Our founder, End-Jy, has been DJing since 1995. Shaped by the Belgian techno scene, he learned the energy and the passion of the craft alongside figures like Marco Bailey, before moving into production with his studio partner Dimitri Andreas.
Like many independent projects, the label eventually went quiet. Fifteen years passed. But there was always that feeling of unfinished business — the sense of a story that hadn’t said its last word.
The comeback wasn’t a spur-of-the-moment decision. It grew from a real conviction: the scene is once again making room for creativity, independent projects and a more handcrafted approach to music. The time was right.
